The band was proud to participate in the return of the Pikes Peak Celtic Festival after a hiatus of several years. The festival was put together in very short time, and a conflict with several existing events meant some bands could only attend on Sunday, but Denver and District won both events in grade 4 competition. The festival also took place shortly after the devastating fires in Black Forest Colorado was contained. Several members of the piping community lost their homes in the fires and were on the minds of everyone in attendance. We are looking forward to the continued growth and future of the festival for years to come.
