Both the grade 3 and grade 4 bands appeared in competition at the Colorado Irish Festival, held on Saturday, July 9th by the Colorado United Irish Societies. The grade 4 band took first place in the Mini-MSR competiton. Quite a feat! The grade 3 band played both the MSR and Time Limit Medley but had no other bands to competite against, but this marked the debut of their new competition Time Limit Medley which was well received by the judges. The weather was brutally hot, with temperature around 100 degrees.
