Denver and District Pipe Band successfully defended their Rocky Mountain Pipe Band Championship by winning both the Quick March Medley and the Time Limit Medley competitions at the Longs Peak Scottish Irish Festival in beautiful Estes Park Colorado. The band finished the competition season with all first places from every judge in every contest.
The band was in competition on Saturday August 9th, and Sunday August 10th at the annual Colorado Scottish Festival and Rocky Mountain Highland Games, sponsored by the Saint Andrew Society of Colorado. The band won both the Quick March Medley and the Time Limit Medley contests.
