Denver and District Upgraded to Grade 3

Denver and District Pipe Band has been officially upgraded by the Western United States Pipe Band Association to the grade 3 competition level beginning with the 2015 competition season. This puts the band in the upper quarter of all pipe bands world wide.

When the Denver and District was formed as a result of the merger of the City of Denver Pipe Band and the Colorado Isle of Mull/St Andrew Pipes and Drums the only goal we had was to make good music. We believed everything else would come as a result of that. And it has.

We have grown, we have learned, we have worked, we have failed, we have succeeded, we have made friends and we have made great music.

But this isn”t the end of a story, only the end of a chapter. We invite you to be part of the next chapter. The band invites any interested people to come and talk with us. We are looking for pipers and drummers at all levels.

We are hoping to establish a grade 4 band soon to provide an opportunity for everyone to take part. We will always be a single band in the public”s eye.

Join us in building something special!
