The Denver and District Pipe Band has returned from the Colorado Scottish Festival which was again held in Snowmass, Colorado. The weather was challenging on Sunday with a heavy rain right as the bands were preparing to start the competition. However the grade 4 band won both the Mini-MSR and Time Limit Medley competitions. This was the first time in competition for the new Time Limit Medley this year. The grade 3 band also attended but again had no competiton, so to paraphase the famous quote “We have met the enemy and he is us”.
